We absolutely love a chocolate martini all year round. In winter, it’s a comforting, rich treat, and in summer, it can be served chilled with a lighter chocolate liqueur for a refreshing yet indulgent sip.
This cocktail also makes a great alternative to a classic dessert, a delicious after dinner drink!

To make our chocolate martini, you’ll need a cocktail shaker with a strainer and a martini glass.
Like a negroni a chocolate martini is one of those classic cocktails that follows an easy ratio to remember: 1 to 1 to 1.

method
Step 1 – Make your chocolate cream
- Heat the heavy cream, over medium high heat, until it starts to boil.
2. Pour the heavy cream over the chopped chocolate in a medium sized bowl and stir until the chocolate melts.
3. Let it cool before making the cocktails
Step 2 – Mix your cocktail
Add all of your ingredients into a shaer full of ice. Shake really well for at least 30 seconds to combine. Strain into your martini glass and garnish with chocolate shavings.
